MMuDS' Actor Factory is more than just a drama program, it’s a chance for young people to build confidence, make lasting friendships, and discover a love for theatre in a supportive community environment. No prior experience is required; all that’s needed is a passion for learning and a willingness to join in the fun.
With a combination of acting, singing, dance, and behind-the-scenes training, this program immerses young performers in every aspect of theatre, culminating in a final showcase performance for family and friends.
Whether your child is new to the stage or already has a budding interest in theatre, the Actor Factory offers a welcoming space to explore, learn, and build confidence.

What’s Involved? Our program covers the full theatrical experience, with training and hands-on practice in:

Acting and Script Analysis – Helping students understand character, dialogue, and storytelling.

Vocal Coaching – Developing both speaking and singing skills.

Choreography and Dance – Introducing movement and dance as storytelling tools.

Theater Games and Sports – Engaging activities that build teamwork and creativity.

Backstage and Production Skills – Including bio box, costume, and set work, giving students a well-rounded view of what it takes to create a production.
By the end, they’ll have the opportunity to perform in a special showcase, demonstrating all they’ve learned.

UPCOMING FOCUS
While there are no programs scheduled currently, Actor Factory participants who can commit to additional rehearsals may have the chance to join in MMuDS productions, gaining live performance experience. Past collaborations have included musical adaptations like The Castle 2 and Seussical. These unique opportunities let young actors step onto the stage in real productions alongside seasoned performers.
